Officially launched on November 1st 2006, the main focus of ECHO Action involved working with groups of households to help realise a more responsible use of energy and resources.
Our main theme throughout the project was interaction and involvement with businesses, Local Authorities and households travelling on similar paths to change.
ECHO Action was simultaneously run in 9 cities across 7 countries between November 2006 and April 2009. The contribution from the diverse range of households, organisations and local authorities allowed for a unique interaction on a wide scale of learning and experience sharing for all participants involved.
Ongoing networking and information sharing between partners and participants, allowed partners and households to introduce and share new and innovative ideas and techniques throughout the project facilitating the organic growth and network of ideas, information and activity.
